We emphasize efficient allocation of capital to maximize the probability of achieving Hassana’s long-term investment goals on a risk-adjusted basis. We focus on the performance of the overall portfolio’s compounding returns in the long term rather than the short-term. We employ both qualified investment and non-investment professionals that combine depth, experience and broad expertise, both in managing assets internally and working with external partners. We also engage the specialized expertise of many top-tier external partners around the world who provide in-depth, specialized on-the-ground analysis and local knowledge; and supply ongoing asset management services.

Local Investments

The Local Markets Department is responsible for managing GOSI’s local and regional investments across asset classes including public and private equity, fixed income, and real assets (real estate & infrastructure). With a team of over 40 investment professionals, the Local Markets Department manages each of the asset classes diligently to produce satisfactory risk-adjusted returns over the long-term relative to their respective benchmarks.

International Markets Department is responsible for managing GOSI’s International assets (ex-GCC) across all asset classes including equity, fixed income, absolute return, and real assets in both the public and private markets.

The team is comprised of highly trained professionals who were picked after a through selection process. The International Markets Department manages each of the asset classes prudently and diligently to produce an acceptable risk-adjusted returns over the long-term relative to each asset class benchmark.

The Operations Department carries multiple responsibilities which includes providing investment support for both Public and Private Markets, locally and internationally, enabling the company’s investment teams to invest in different asset classes with efficiently and leveraging from state-of-the-art technology

Having identified the risks to which Hassana is exposed, we use a range of techniques to track risk levels. The results are reported to key stakeholders.
