A respected leader with almost four decades of experience in various high-profile roles across the Kingdom’s energy, government and investment sectors, H.E. Al Saadan is the Chairman of the Board of Hassana and the Chair of the Board Investment Committee. He previously served as President of the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu, and prior to that Senior Vice President for Finance, Strategy & Development of Saudi Aramco and CEO of Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Co. (SAMREF). H.E. Al Saadan has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA, a Master's Degree from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, USA, and a Bachelor’s Degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. 

With over 40 years of financial services and leadership experience, Mr. AlFaris is a Member of the Hassana Board and Member of the Board Investment Committee. He is also Chairman of Falcom Holding, Vice Chairman of Technical Investments Company, and a Board Member of several other companies, as well as acting as the Chairman and CEO of AlMajd AlArabiyah. Mr. AlFaris has a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University, USA.

With over 35 years of leadership experience in the Kingdom’s leading financial and industrial companies, Mr. Al-Rowais is a Member of the Hassana Board and a Board Member of MEPCO, Saudi Electricity company and Saudi Mining Services Company. He previously held senior positions with Ma’aden, SABIC and SAMA. Mr. Al-Rowais is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the United States and has a Bachelor’s Degree from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.

With over 25 years’ experience in finance and investment leadership positions, Ms. Al-Rowaily is a Member of the Hassana Board and a Board Member of  Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures and Saudi Aramco Investment Management Company. She is the CEO and Board Member of Wisayah Global Investment Management Company and spent 20 years in various senior roles at Saudi Aramco. Ms. Al-Rowaily has MBAs from MIT Sloan, USA, and American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and a Bachelor’s Degree from King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia.

The CEO and CIO of KAPSARC Investment Management Company. Sameer oversees the Center’s endowment portfolio and its implementation options across asset classes. Prior to this role, Sameer spent a decade at KAUST Investment Management Company in Washington, where he managed multi $US billion portfolios. Prior to that, Sameer was an investment director at Cambridge Associates in Boston, where he advised on strategy allocation and manager selection. Sameer started his career as an engineer and consultant with Saudi Aramco and McKinsey. Sameer holds an MBA from Stanford University, an M.S. degree KFUPM and a B.Sc. degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Sameer is a CFA and CAIA Charter holder..

Ibrahim Almojel is the Co-Founding of Al-Khwarizmi Holding Company which Owns investment companies in venture capital, private investment, international real estate investment and international private investment. Ibrahim Almojel was the CEO of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund from2018 to January 2023. Previously he worked at Saudi Aramco in multiple functions including corporate strategy and Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, and he was the CEO of Wisayah, the investment management arm of Saudi Aramco. Most recently he was the co-president of the D20-LTIC, board member of Samba financial group and Alrayedah investment company. He was the co-president of the D20-LTIC, and sits on multiple boards including Saudi National Bank (SNB), Awqaf Investment Company, EXIM bank, National Infrastructure, Integrated Logistics Special Zone company and the Arab Mining Company. He is a member of the 2019 Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. He completed his BS in Electrical Engineering and mathematics from Vanderbilt University, then an MS in Electrical Engineering, an MS and a PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Focused on delivering the long-term vision and objectives of Hassana, Mr. Al Fadly joined Hassana in 2013 and has been Hassana’s Chief Executive Officer since then and a member of the board of directors since 2023. With over 25 years of industry experience, he has held senior positions with NCB Capital, Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Central Bank. Mr. Al Fadly has a Bachelor’s Degree from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, and a Master’s Degree from Boston University, USA.

Ensuring robust corporate governance and compliance with all relevant regulations, Mr. Almahmoud joined Hassana in 2020 and has been Hassana’s Head of Governance and Compliance, and Board Secretary since 2020. He works with the board of directors and executive team to ensure appropriate governance and compliance frameworks are in place and adhered to. He previously worked at Capital Market Authority, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and Central Bank. Mr. Almahmoud has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, and a Master’s Degree in Business and Finance Law from The George Washington University, in Washington, DC, USA.

Dr Paul Sweeting is a Senior Advisor.  He was previously Chief Risk Officer at Hassana and rejoins the firm having been on secondment to the General Organization for Social Insurance, where he was an Assistant Governor.

Prior to moving to Saudi Arabia, Dr Sweeting worked as a Professor of Actuarial Science at the University of Kent, where he was Head of Actuarial Science. He has held a number of senior roles in finance, including Head of Research at Legal & General Investment Management, European Head of the Strategy Group and a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and Director of Research at Fidelity Investments International.

Dr Sweeting is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, the Royal Statistical Society and the Royal Society of Arts. He is also a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary and a CFA Charterholder.

Mr. Khushaim joined Hassana in 2015 and, in his current role as Chief Strategy Officer, he is responsible for leading the development of our investment and corporate strategy. Prior to 2022, he was Chief Investment Officer for International Markets at Hassana. Mr. Khushaim began his career in 2006 working with the team managing Saudi Aramco’s Corporate pension. His previous roles include serving as portfolio manager at KAUST Investment Management Company in Arlington, VA. Mr. Khushaim has a Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University, USA, and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Mr. Alqahtani has been the Chief Investment Officer for Regional Markets at Hassana since June 2018. He manages a team of experienced portfolio managers and investment specialist in local and regional markets, covering public equity, fixed income, private equity, infrastructure and real estate investments. Mr. Alqahtani has more than 15 years of experience in managing public and private investments. Prior to his current role Hassana, he was the Head of Equity at Hassana between 2014 and 2018, Senior Portfolio Manager at HSBC Asset Management between 2011 and 2014, Equity Analyst at NCB Capital between 2008 and 2011, and worked in Transaction Services at PwC between 2007 and 2008. Mr. Alqahtani has a Bachelor’s Degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia.

Responsible for managing investment portfolios in international markets, Mr. Aljehani joined Hassana in 2014 and has been Hassana’s Chief International Investments Officer since 2022. He oversees Hassana’s investments in international markets across all major asset classes. In 2017, Mr. Aljehani was part of Chief Investment Officer Magazine’s 40 under 40 class. Before joining Hassana, Mr. Aljehani was part of the Investment Research Department at the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI).  Mr Aljehani has a double major Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada.   

Responsible for designing and deploying our overall operating model, Mr. Alatiki joined Hassana in 2019 and has been Hassana’s Chief Operating Officer since 2019. He oversees a number of key units and support functions across the business to ensure operational excellence, state-of-the-art infrastructure and world-class partnerships. He previously held various senior roles at JPMorgan and HSBC Saudi Arabia. Mr. Alatiki has a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout, USA.

Overseeing financial and administrative management, Mr. Alghamdi joined Hassana in 2014 and has been Hassana’s Chief Financial Officer since 2017. In addition to ensuring the strong financial performance and smooth administrative operations of the business, in accordance with our overall strategy. Until 2021, he also oversaw Hassana’s Information Technology function and administrative management department, and prior to joining Hassana he held a senior portfolio management role at GOSI. Mr. Alghamdi has a Master’s Degree from University of Colorado, USA.

In charge of identifying and mitigating risks to our strategic success, Ms. Alnumay joined Hassana in 2018 and has been Hassana’s Head of Risk since 2022. She oversees management of investment risks, non-investment risks and cybersecurity, as well as risk governance. She was previously a lecturer at King Saud University. Mrs. Alnumay  is a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and has a Bachelor’s Degree from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, and a Master’s Degree from DePaul University in Chicago, USA.

Responsible for the oversight of the effectiveness of Hassana’s internal control environment and governance, Mr. Almudaires joined Hassana in 2019 as Hassana’s Head of Internal Audit. He safeguards the business by overseeing the evaluation and improvement of the effectiveness of all risk management, control and governance processes. Mr. Almudaires has a Bachelor’s Degree from Massey University, New Zealand, and a Master’s Degree from Monash University, Australia.

An accomplished and driven leader with experience driving positive change in large organizations, Ms. Alayed joined Hassana in 2021 and has been Hassana’s Chief Human Resources Officer since 2023. She oversees all aspects of HR as a strategic business advisor to the senior management of each business unit regarding key organizational and management issues. She is also responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan. Ms. Alayed holds a Master’s Degree from Alyammah University, Saudi Arabia, and is a CIPD certified professional.

Responsible for managing the international public portfolio and private credit since 2022. Before joining Hassana, Ms. Alsheikh held previous roles at Raidah Investment Company and Riyad Bank. Ms. Alsheikh holds bachelor’s degree from Al Yamamah University, Saudi Arabia, and a dual MBA Degree from Columbia University, USA, and London Business School, United Kingdom. 

Overseeing the Alternative Investment portfolio which includes Private Equity, Private Real Assets, and Hedge Funds. Mr. Alfaris joined Hassana in 2014 and has been working in the international department across public and private asset classes. He has been the Head of Alternative Investments since 2022. He has a Bachelor of Finance Degree from the University of Utah, USA, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). 

Overseeing the regional public equity portfolio, Mr. Alhumaidan joined Hassana in 2016 and has been responsible for the regional public equity portfolio since 2021. Mr. Alhumaidan previously held various investment roles at PIF, HSBC Saudi Arabia, and PwC. Mr. Alhumaidan has a Bachelor's Degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and is a Chartered financial analyst (CFA).

Overseeing our regional fixed income and money market portfolio, Mr. Bakheet joined Hassana in late 2021, following the merger between Al Raidah Investment Company and Hassana Investment company. He previously held various roles at Al Raidah investment company, Bank Saudi Fransi, and Saudi Industrial Development fund. Mr. Bakheet has a Bachelor’s Degree from American University of Sharjah, UAE.

Overseeing the regional companies and portfolios, as well as investment governance in accordance with the best professional practices, Mr. Al Hussein joined Hassana in 2014 and has been Hassana’s Head of Corporate & Portfolio Affairs since 2017. Mr. Al Hussein has a Bachelor’s Degree from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.

Responsible for managing the private equity department as part of the regional investment team, covering private equity, PIPEs, infrastructure and venture capital, Mr. Farhat joined Hassana in 2022 to head the department focusing on investment and portfolio management activities. He has over 20 years of professional experience and held various roles in investments, M&A and finance with Al Faisaliah Group, Mubadala GE Capital, Bank Audi, P&G and PwC, with a focus on MENA markets. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from the American University of Beirut and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2005.

Responsible for real estate investments and portfolio management in Saudi Arabia and the region, Mr. Almeida joined Hassana in 2022. He has over 20 years of real estate investment and portfolio management experience in the GCC, Europe and Brazil. Mr. Almeida previously held various roles at Multi Corporation, Tishman Speyer, Strategy& and ADCG. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Nova School of Business & Economics, Portugal, and postgraduate degree from ISCTE, Portugal, and an MBA from INSEAD in Paris and Singapore.
